The spinning heart of OPSASEC

Our 5 axis CNC milling machine is a custom built, one of a kind system manufactured in Europe for ultra high precision work. It combines full simultaneous 5 axis motion with an integrated probing system, delivering repeatability and alignment within one micron on every axis. This level of precision allows us to produce complex prototypes and components that are correct on the first attempt, eliminating costly remakes and ensuring every detail meets the most demanding specifications.

Lathe Mastery

OPSASEC has decades of combined experience in precision turning, producing parts that range from straightforward components to complex geometries that few would believe possible on a lathe.

One example is the double threaded bolt, widely regarded as one of the most challenging components to produce on a lathe. Our process delivered it straight off the machine with no polishing or cleanup required, meeting exact specifications on the first attempt.

Modeling Capabilities

At OPSASEC we approach design as art;  the art of turning ideas into robust, production-ready designs. Our team works across Inventor, Fusion 360, SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD. We also use SCAD for numerically derived geometry. We have the capacity to work on highly complicated part geometry, from individual components to complete machines with operational simulations, physics, and advanced geometries.

Projects span oil and gas, security, renewable energy, research, and industrial R&D, always in compliance with ISO, Norsok, ASME, and other applicable standards. Our designs are optimized for manufacturability. We utilize mathematical analysis to create perfect geometries. Then we place perfect tolerances, clearances, such that you don’t waste a dime on overspeccing you part, yet allowing it to work perfectly every time.  

Inspection

At OPSASEC, we know that measuring technique is as important as manufacturing technique. All of our parts are verified using state-of-the-art Sylvac & Mitutoyo equipment, capable of resolving dimensions down to the micron. All tooling and inspection follow ISO 9001 standards, ensuring that each part meets the exact specifications demanded by our clients. We don’t guess — we confirm.

Material Selection

At OPSASEC, material choice is never a limitation. We source from a global network of trusted suppliers, giving us access to any hardness, any composition, and full traceability when required. From rare earths through our Asian partners to specialized steel alloys and billets from top European manufacturers, we get exactly what the job demands.
We maintain in-house hardening capabilities for custom treatments and can provide full non-destructive testing on any part upon request. The right material, the right spec, every time.

Global Sourcing

Outsourcing is as much a skill as making the part itself.
We do not believe in blind trust.
We vet each supplier meticulously, with a multi step process. Test orders and physical inspection of premesis.
This network is how we are able to handle any part from a single prototype to a serial production run.
